We are pleased to present our film The Debate that Never Dies – Euthanasia and Ethics. The film presents various ethical dilemmas regarding euthanasia as well as an introduction to the working methods of the Council of Ethics
Although euthanasia is banned in Denmark, the debate is still vivid. Just like viewpoints in the population are numerous, the opinions are divided among the 17 members of the The Danish Council of Ethics. The arguments are grounded in both philosophical, religious and scientific criterias.
The film is the first in a series of three films. The other two films – one on organ donation and the other about prenatal diagnosis – will be launched during the next couple of months.
